The MAX232DWRG4 is a 2-driver/2-receiver line driver/receiver chip that meets all the EIA/TIA-232E and CCITT V.28/V.24 specifications. It is designed to interface directly with microprocessors and other digital logic circuits, converting their TRI-STATE or CMOS/TTL output levels to the ±8V to ±11V signal levels required by the EIA/TIA-232E interface.
