Taiwan wafer foundry has recorded good results in October, looking forward to different seasons

Wafer foundries TSMC, UMC, and the world's advanced October revenues increased in tandem compared with September revenues, up 3.8%, 34.73%, and 4.99%, respectively. Among them, UMC hit a new monthly high, and TSMC wrote the second highest. The world's advanced performance is a three-month high. UMC's revenue in October was 14.587 billion yuan, with an annual growth rate of 15.98%. Accumulated revenue from January to October was 120.939 billion yuan, an annual decrease of 5.75%. UMC expects to benefit from customers' layout of communications and new products in the computer field and to replenish inventory, improve the demand for RF chips, OLED driver chips and power management chips for 5G mobile phones, coupled with the acquisition of new plants in Japan, wafer shipments are expected to be expected. Increased by 10%, the performance continued to grow steadily.

The world's advanced October revenue was 2.456 billion yuan, with a monthly growth rate of 4.99% and an annual decrease of 2.7%. From January to October this year, revenue was about 23.408 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.43% from the same period last year.
