According to Samsung, the new 12GbLPDDR5 DRAM with the second-generation 10nm process has a transfer speed of 5,500 Mbps, which is 1.3 times that of the existing LPDDR4X (4266 Mbps). Samsung also pointed out that after the mass production of 12GbLPDDR5 DRAM, 16Gb of LPDDR5 DRAM particles will be mass produced in 2020.
