IC Insights: Intel returns to semiconductors First, Hais fell out of the global TOP15

ICInsights, a market research organization, recently released a report based on revenues for the first half of the year, and announced the latest version of the global TOP15 semiconductor vendor ranking. The report shows that Samsung, Hynix, Micron and other storage giants plummeted, Samsung has lost the leader; Intel's performance fell by 2%, still no suspense to return to the world's first throne.

In the first half of the year, Intel’s revenue was $32 billion, and Samsung’s revenue was $26.7 billion, ranking second. Samsung's revenue in the same period last year was as high as 39.8 billion US dollars.

Overall, global semiconductor output fell 4% in the first half of the year. The sharp decline in the price of memory chips is the "culprit."

Among the global TOP15 semiconductor manufacturers, there are 6 in the United States, 3 in Europe, and 2 in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.

It is worth noting that in the previous edition of the semiconductor manufacturer's TOP15 ranking (first-quarter performance ranking) released by ICInsights, HiSilital jumped to the 14th in the world with 1.755 billion US dollars, and its performance increased by 41% year-on-year. In the second quarter, Hess fell out of the global TOP15 list.
